ASA 101 will be offered on a demand basis for 2019.  Most of our customers have some boating or sailing experience and aren't interested in taking the 101 course on smaller boats.  For this reason, we will be offering the course aboard our larger boat which is docked in the Ludington Munipal Marina.    

Our minimum class size is three students.  This is necessary because everyone learns the responsibilities of the captain and crew.  The various sailing maneuvers involve the captain and the crew.

2019 Tentative dates are:

June 13-15   1:00 pm to 5:00 pm daily

July 8-10      9:00 am to  1:00 pm daily

July 29-31    9:00 am to  1:00 pm daily

If you don't see a date that works for you, give us a call and we'll try to work something out for you.

The course fee for ASA 101 is $445, including course fee, materials, ASA log book and one year's ASA dues.  We offer a discount of $99 for two people registering together and sharing materials.  You may add a 3rd student for $399.

A 50% payment is required at time of registration with the balance due at the inception of class.  Payment may be made by credit card with a processing fee of 2% charged.

Our cancellation policy is that a 100% refund is given with seven days advance notice.  A 50% fee is refunded if notice is given at leas four days prior to the start of class.  No refund is given if cancellation occurs within four days of start of class.

For the obvious reasons, we do not sail in storms or inclement weather.  Class times  may be adjusted to avoid storms.  If that is not practical the course may be rescheduled or fees refunded.
