2019 Captained Charters

We offer 2 ½ hour charters, half-day charters, full-day charters and sunset cruises. Freedom is licensed for up to six passengers. We strive to make this a family activity and children are welcome, but please let us know if you plan to bring small children so that we may discuss safety concerns prior to your arrival. Want to make that sunset cruise a dinner cruise? We can offer exquisite catered dinners from a local restaurant, call for details.

Schedules and pricing is as follows:

· 2 ½ hour charters depart at 9:30 am, 1:30 pm. The fee is $300.  You are welcome to bring snacks and the beverage of choice.

· Sunset cruises are 2 ½ hours in duration and depart approximately 7:00 pm with times adjusted due to seasonal fluctuations of time of sunset. The fee is $325 Monday through Thursday and $350 for Friday through Sunday. You are welcome to bring snacks and the beverage of your choice.

· Half-day charters are four hours in duration, departing at 9 am and 1:30 pm. The fee for a half-day charter is $450. You are welcome to bring snacks and the beverage of your choice.

· Full-day charters depart at 9am and return approximately eight hours later. The fee for a full-day charter is $825. You are welcome to bring food, snacks and the beverage of your choice.

At the time your charter is booked, I would request that you send a deposit check for half of the charter fee. The deposit is refunded if you cancel with 36 hours advance notice or in the event of inclement weather, high winds or high seas. In the event of weather cancellations, we will attempt to reschedule the charter or refund the deposit, at your option.

We can accommodate children, but this activity may not be appropriate for small children due to safety concerns. If you plan to bring children, we should discuss their age and weight prior to booking.

Please wear soft-soled, non-marking shoes during your charter. You should also bring hats, sun screen, and a light jacket or sweater. If you have any medical condition, you should make us aware of that fact prior to departure.

Freedom is docked in slip B2 at the Ludington Municipal Marina. There is plenty of parking in the marina parking lot or along the street nearby.  Please be careful parking in the marina to avoid parking in a reserved parking spot that may result in your vehicle being ticketed or towed.

I trust that this will provide most of the information that you need. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly.
